This project involved the replacement of the existing fire alarm system in eleven buildings on the Clarinda campus.    The buildings vary in size, occupancy (healthcare, education, business, esidential, storage), and age with the oldest building dating back to 1884.  The new fire alarm system includes eight addressable fire alarm panels connected together on a fiber network, initiation devices, notification devices, elevator interfaces, HVAC interfaces, and linear heat detection cable in areas with extreme environments.
